John Dillard Workman III, 40, of 3016 NC Hwy 22 S., Ramseur, died Wednesday, August 5,
2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Saturday, Cedar Falls United Methodist Church


Officiating, Rev. Ed Carter, Rev. Jack Hileman.


Burial will follow in the church cemetery.


John was a Randolph County native and was Director of Rehabilitation at Universal Health
Care in Ramseur. He was Lt. Col. and Squadron Commander of the 141st Civil Air Patrol
and was a member of Marietta Lodge #444 where he was Secretary and had acheieved the
32nd Degree Scottish Rite, Knight of St. Andrews and York Rite Mason. He was President
of the Cedar Falls Community Association and a member of Concord United Methodist
Church in Coleridge.


Survivors: wife, Rhonda Kay Waisner Workman, daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Workman, of
the home, parents, Jack and Margaret Nance Workman, of Cedar Falls, sisters, Susan
Layton, of Franklinville, Genia Fontaine, of Greensboro, nephews, Patrick Fontaine, of
Greensboro and Evan Waisner, of Asheboro, nieces, Lauren Layton, Allie Layton, Julia
Layton, all of Franklinville, Leah Waisner, of Asheboro.


Visitation, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur, other times at the
home of his parents, Jack and Margaret Workman, 3915 Old Cedar Falls Rd., Cedar Falls.
